The files are composed for A4 at 100 percent, single-sided, which is exactly what your printer or the shop down the road already uses. No fit to page, no scaling, no clipped margins on the photographed exhibits.
Nothing is shipped either. Payment is by card, an email brings a personal code, and you download the file from the portal yourself. No customs, no freight, no three-week wait: a party decided on Thursday can happen on Saturday. The four files are on the murder mystery kits page.
The time zone makes no difference
Everything is automatic. The email with the code arrives right after payment whatever the hour in Europe, and the portal is a web page, not a person: you enter the code, you download.
The only clock that matters is the one the code starts. It waits indefinitely until you first use it, then stays valid one week from that first opening rather than from the purchase. Buy in November for a January party if you like: open it two days before.
Summer evenings and a long table
For a February evening, plan indoors or on a covered terrace, because you are laying out photographed documents for three hours and a breeze scatters an entire act. If you are outside, weight the exhibit folders and keep the drinks at the other end.
Light matters more than people expect. These are documents you read closely, sometimes handwriting, sometimes small figures in a register, so a table lamp beats an overhead light once the sun goes.
Which file for a group of ten
Any of the four kits: six to twelve players plus a host who does not play, about three hours, $39.90 whatever the head count. At ten you deal the six core characters and four supporting ones, and print two pages each plus all the exhibits.

If the group is smaller, or nobody wants to host
A kit needs six players and someone who sits out. Below that, or when nobody will take the host's chair, the format is a cooperative case file: no roles, no host, one to seven investigators reading the same documents together.
